Description
Some call “Paint by Stickers” book a new type of craft, I call it the best occupational therapy tool around for fine motor skills. The smaller the sticker the more work those fingers do. Each template is divided into dozens of spaces, each with a number that corresponds to a particular sticker. Find the sticker, peel it, place it.
“Paint by Stickers” comes in all age levels from children to adults. Children’s books, of course, has larger stickers. Peeling those sticky little pieces requires the use of just the finger tips to pincer grasp the edges. Then there’s the two-hand coordination, as well as the aim, and the necessity to stick the piece in its specified area.
It is also a fantastic travel activity. Not knowing fully what a “Paint by Sticker” book was, I purchased one just before our China/Mongolia trip. I was amazed. Andrew worked on the pages for hours and non-stop for several weeks. Best purchase I made for that trip!
