Description
Sequence cards come in varying steps. Children can arrange 3-6 simple story cards in logical order to complete each sequence. This teaches children to think about how to order the events of a story in logical order. They learn that stories have a beginning, middle, and ends, as they learn to follow directions and organize information. Sequencing also creates a firm foundation to story organization.
For older children, use sequence cards for writing prompts, story telling, teaching verbs and tenses, if/than situations, and visualizing story comprehension.
