I first read this book when Andrew was an infant. Chapter 1 begins with the following statement: You are not Alone. I needed to hear those four words.

While homeschooling is a focus, there is information for parents on raising special kid such as IEPs, behavioral help, and survival technique. Sometimes just reading how other families cope, plan, save, and live life is encouraging.

This is a compilation of stories written by Christian homeschool families who are privately educating their special needs children. Even now as Andrew approaches his teen years, I continue to re-read and utilize the information within these pages.
